Hotel history
Košice Hotel**** belongs among the youngest hotels in Košice, even though its 10 years old by now.
Opening in the summer of 2013 was a breakthrough moment for us, followed by waves of satisfied guests, successful cooperation with our partners and unforgettable social events.
From a hotel newcomer to a household name
The construction commenced in 2012, when Košice Hotel**** already stood firmly.
Opening of the hotel took place in the summer of 2013. In this short period we were able to build ourselves a strong reputation in the city, which we continue to further develop.
Growing interest in beautiful weddings had allowed us to expand the capacity of Alžbeta hall in 2017, which can now host up to 140 guests.
The demand kept on increasing, this time for accommodation, and that is why we decided to expand even further. In 2019 we have successfully opened a new hotel floor with 9 luxurious rooms of various standards. We were even able to expand our room portfolio – we added two new room types to ensure a larger pool of comfort options for our guests.
Strategic location in regards to Košice airport practically demanded a formation of a good partnership between the two establishments, which has been successfully established and that is another reason why travel agencies, as well as pilots and stewards/stewardesses like to use the services of our hotel.
We currently enjoy the interest in our services not only with domestic business travellers, but also with tourists from abroad. We were lucky to host several famous people as guests here, including Zuzana Smatanová, Celeste Buckingham, Kali, Marián Hossa st. and others.
Moments of fame
- In 2014 more than 70 newlyweds had organized their wedding here!
- Wedding showcase was also very popular. It took place in the hotel on each autumn during years 2014-2017, and it was organized in cooperation with the Perfect event company.
- Košice Hotel**** became a main press center for the international motocycling competition Enduro in 2015.
- Rotary Club had been proud to call our premises its home for a number of years.
- Regular activities are organized here by the self-governing bodies, the Košice Self-Governing Region (2019) and the Municipality of Košice.
- We have experience with organizing conferences and events for students as well as for people from the field of medicine, information technology and union organizations.
- We had the opportunity to host representatives of The World Cup in Hockeyball (2019) and also fans of The Ice Hockey World Championship (2019) from abroad.
